Soccer Player Aaron Ramsey Ups Incentive for Lost Pet in Mexico to $$20k
Wales athlete Aaron Ramsey has increased the bounty for leads about his lost pet named Halo to $20,000.
The former Premier League club Arsenal and Cardiff City midfielder, who now represents the Mexican club Pumas in Mexico City, stated that Halo was spotted in San Miguel de Allende, located in the Guanajuato area.
the dog, who disappeared on October 9th, was wearing a GPS collar, and the footballer shared a map pinpoint of the spot she vanished from.
"Any sort of updates regarding our Halo kindly get in touch with us. Significant reward for reuniting with her. We are all praying she is safe and comes home to our family shortly," Ramsey wrote on Instagram.
Initial Reward and Emotional Appeals
Ramsey first announced that his dog had disappeared 14 days prior and has since uploaded numerous images of the adored canine on Instagram.
A seven thousand five hundred pound bounty was first provided, but with absence of information on Halo's whereabouts after a seven days, Ramsey and his family doubled the amount.
"Our only wish is our pet home," he said in an additional plea on his online platforms after the decade-old pet was lost.
The latest picture post is a monochrome image of Halo snoozing, its head lying in the crook of the athlete's elbow, with the description: "What I wouldn't give to embrace you one last time Halo."
Household's Anxieties and Context
Ramsey has also circulated a statement from his wife Mrs. Ramsey on social media indicating they have some "serious concerns" about the event and worry the family "could possibly not receive answers".
"We still have not located our dog. It is unlikely we ever will," the spouse's post stated.
The Welsh leader joined Mexico's top-flight team Club Universidad Nacional in recent months and made his first appearance in the Mexican league in August.
Originally from Caerphilly player is the first well-known UK athlete to compete in the Liga MX.
